Phrasal Verb Friday: Actions around the House

Happy Friday!

Before sitting down to write this wonderful Phrasal Verb Friday post, I was busy tidying up the house. I had to take out the trash, put away the dishes and do the laundry, which included: picking up the dirty clothes from the floor (oops!!) and hanging up all of the freshly washed clothes to dry (heck yes for saving energy!).

Since my day is full of house chores, I thought it was only perfect to make dedicate this #phrasalverbfriday to actions that happen in the house. This infographic is not exhaustive, which means there are definitely more, so I challenge you to add some more in the comment section below.

As always, another great way to practice these phrasal verbs is using them in a personal context, and applying them to yourself. If/When you do this, please share your sentences with me and other learners. You can also connect via social media and share your sentences there, too!

This post is short…and sweet, so here you go:

Happy Studying! ♥

If you know someone who is learning English, please share this post with them to help them comfortably and confidently talk about daily actions around the house. Thanks ♥
